The Egyptian key player Mo’ Salah was substituted with a shoulder injury in the 30th minute of Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid and the Egyptian was in tears as he made his way down the tunnel in Kiev.
With just 17 days from now, Egypt is set to play Uruguay in their first match of the FIFA World Cup tournament. And the forward is in a race against time to be available for the Group A clash.
It’s understood that Egypt’s national federation are confident that Salah will return in between ten days and three weeks time and Liverpool physio, Pons, appears to be in agreement.
